How often should I apply my Retinoid Face Serum?
This face serum was made to use everyday but we don’t recommend diving into daily use right away. Depending on your skin, you may need an adjustment period. We recommend starting with just once a week, working up a tolerance to every other day, until you can make it a part of your everyday routine!
(PS - Another way to make sure you’re combating irritation from retinoid serum in general is to pair it with our Facial Moisturizer with ReVita-D to prevent dryness & seal in deep hydration).

How are retinoids different from retinol?
We like to think as retinoid as an umbrella term for all of the retinols in skincare! Retinol is a type of retinoid. The main difference between retinoids and retinol is how strong they are, really! You’ll find retinol in different forms that take longer to break down into retinoic acids
Should I put moisturizer on over my retinoid serum?
Absolutely! Retinoids & retinols often come with an adjustment period where your skin may become drier and more easily irritated than usual. The good news: this will pass! The even better news: using a deeply hydrating, effective moisturizer for your skin type can help mitigate this reaction. Even after your skin has adjusted to your retinoid products, moisturizer is still a must at the end of any skincare routine.
